I posted a review of this a couple of weeks back, and listening to it now I felt this urge to post again and just make it clear that it's a good comp. It's not great, it's not essential, etc. but it has some really cool music, and a good variety, while still having enough common elements that putting it on shuffle doesn't mean the whole thing suddenly becomes a shambles. I said in my last review that lots of it seemed pretty lukewarm, but over the past couple of weeks I've found that it stands up well as a decent listen to throw on while doing other things. I really like the Jeff Sharel tracks on here. It says he's a house man, which I can understand from what's here, but the tracks are really low-key, and neither is four-to-the-floor either. Can anyone tell me if there's comparable material out there? Also, are the Susumu Yokota tracks indicative of his releases on Leaf? People talked about subdued they are.. in a similar style to 'Kodomotachi' or not at all?
